The Reception
The Party Continues
 | | The reception was held straight after the wedding, at Staverton Cricket Green. We were seated in a spacious marquee, and treated to some great food, wine and a wide selection of flavoured water. |

 The Wedding Cake |

 Cutting the cake |
After the cutting of the cake we had some coffee, chocolates and cake whilst we listened to the speeches.
Ricky, Andy's brother and best man, told us how he'd once whacked Andy on the head with a golf club, apparently Andy still has a dent in his head! He talked us through a few incidents of Andy's life, and then introduced Mike Campbell, the father of the bride.
Mike gave us his understanding of the word wedding,
W | We who were invited were welcome. |
E | Ever and ever, eternal. Also Eddie, Jo's late brother. |
D | Daughter, I've always loved Jo. |
D | A bit of a pun, "and D", who has always been helpful and polite. |
I | Ironing, which you'll be doing lots of! |
N | Nuptials... Also nice & naughty. |
G | "Gotcha", and "Go for it!" |
| Mike Campbell |
Andy and Jo both thanked us all for sharing in their wedding day. Ricky proposed toasts to the bride and groom, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen.
After the end of the official proceedings everyone enjoyed the sunny afternoon and the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
